Another bird flu death in China (The Malay Mail)
BEIJING: A woman has died of bird flu in Shandong province, State media said yesterday, reporting the nation's second death from the disease this month. The 27-year-old, surnamed Zhang, fell ill on Jan 5 and died on Saturday, Xinhua news agency said. The national disease prevention and control centre confirmed that she was infected with the H5N1 strain of avian influenza.
